Evaluation Tools
Introducing self-evaluation and learning from it involves much more than ticking boxes on
questionnaires, prepared by others. Therefore the SEALLL team tries to offer an approach and tools
for organisations to introduce and set up their own self-evaluation, create their own instruments
and take this further in an organisational learning process.
Please have a look at the guidelines and presentations in the document library first.
Below you can find the central framework for the presentation of examples of instruments for
self-evaluation in adult learning. In the horizontal axis the matrix describes the possible initiators of
self-evaluation activities: learners, teachers, developers and management; vertically you can find
categories of possible evaluation objects.
Each cell will give access to a series of instruments initiated by the indicated 'actor' in that column
and evaluating an element of the object indicated in that row. In a first phase all instruments are in
English but gradually other languages will be added.
The SEALLL project is still running. Instruments will be added and draft versions will be finalised in
the year to come.
